The shift to EVs not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also positions companies as leaders in sustainability, helping them achieve their ESG goals. Addressing the charging infrastructure challenge head-on will be key to the successful adoption and long-term sustainability of electric fleets, but this is not easy.

Necture’s  “Charging-as-a-Service”

While employees work or enjoy free time and well-deserved sleep, Necture provides charged and ready-to-go EVs. “Charging-as-a-Service'' (CaaS) is fully automated and continuously monitors the battery levels of EVs.

Once battery levels are too low, Necture provides recharging services within set charging times. This ensures that EVs are charged according to operational needs and set policies.

By partnering with leading charging station operators and energy suppliers, Necture offers significant cost savings, making the service both efficient and economical. Additionally, the platform is integrated with over 400,000 charging stations across Europe, guaranteeing seamless access and reliable charging infrastructure for any EV fleet.

To date, Necture has carried out over 34,000 charging processes, delivering 150 MWh of energy.

Office Charging: Cost and Feasibility

For many businesses, the cost and space requirements of installing multiple EV chargers can be prohibitive. The infrastructure needed to support a large number of EVs can be complex and expensive, especially if the office is located in a city center with limited parking space.

Moreover, the demand for charging can fluctuate, making it difficult to predict how many chargers are needed at any given time. Overestimation leads to wasted investments, while underestimation leads to downtimes, reducing efficiency and productivity. “Charging-as-a-Service” covers these hurdles by reducing investment needs, space requirements, and balancing charging times.

Challenges of Home Charging

“Charging-as-a-Service” also provides a solution for home charging, so employers can support employees who cannot charge their EVs at home. Installing home charging infrastructure can be a significant, often non-recoupable investment and sometimes is not even possible. This leaves drivers with the option to charge at public charging stations, which is inconvenient for the driver, and leads to a significant loss of productive time for the employer. Our service removes the complexity of charging, allowing the employee to focus on their work.
